Job Description
This is a fixed term position from 24 May 2025 - 24 May 2026 covering Maternity Leave
Warehouse Stationery in Matamata, is seeking a professional and organised Second in Command (2IC) for our Store Within A Store (SWAS) Trading operation. This fixed-term position offers an exciting opportunity to join our team and play a crucial role in managing our stationery retail space.
Assist the SWAS Trading Manager in overseeing daily operations of the SWAS Trading area
Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer queries efficiently
Lead and motivate team members, delegating tasks and responsibilities as needed
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
Assist in staff training and development initiatives
Monitor and analyse sales performance, implementing strategies to meet targets
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming store environment
Support the implementation of marketing and promotional activities
Act as the primary point of contact in the SWAS Trading Managers Absence
Days and Hours are:
Tuesday 8am - 4.30pm
Wednesday 8am - 4.30pm
Thursday 8am - 4.30pm
Friday 8am - 4.30pm
Saturday 8am - 4.40pm
Qualifications
Ideally you will have:
Proven experience in retail
Experience or an interest in the copy centre
Ability to pay close attention to detail
A passion for delivering awesome service!
