Mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
The AEP team sits within Business Engagement and Partnerships in Customer Connection. This is an exciting to time to join our team as we operationalise changes to the AEP. The Programme allows large employers who meet our criteria to self-manage work injury claims for their employees. The AEP team works closely with Accredited Employers and deals with the day-to-day administration of the AEP.
As a Monitoring Specialist you will have a portfolio of Accredited Employers with whom you work to ensure they are meeting and maintaining the requirements of accreditation. Amongst other things, this will include supporting their annual Health and Safety, and Claims and Injury Management assessments, establishing action plans where an employer has failed to meet a requirement, completing monitoring of claim files and talking to employers about their performance.
You’ll be dealing with large NZ employers and their third-party administrators. We pride ourselves on delivering a professional service so great communication and relationship skills are important.
If you’re someone who thrives in a busy environment and likes to work with lots of autonomy within a supportive environment – you’re could be the person we’re looking for.
It would be an advantage if you have some knowledge of the Accredited Employers Programme. You need to have really good time management and be able to prioritise your day depending on what’s happening in your portfolio.
This 10 month fixed term role offers the flexibility to work from any ACC office location.

The salary range for this role is $89,000 - $111,000 with appointment depending on skills and experience and internal relativities. ACC also offers 9% superannuation on top of base salary.
