Mō te tūranga | About the opportunity

We're looking for a friendly and flexible assistant to join our fantastic Kitchen team. This role will be part of a supportive team and will involve some time working independently. 

The Kitchen Assistant is responsible for delivering efficient food service to our residents and providing a high level of customer service.

You will support the Kitchen Manager through kitchen and meal preparation including assembling and heating food items. You will also be responsible for keeping the kitchen and scullery areas clean, tidy, and safe.

This is a permanent part-time opportunity working 36 hours across a fortnight.

• Experience working within a commercial kitchen or similar environment
• Highly motivated, able to take initiative, and flexible.
• Great hygiene standards and commitment to health and safety
• Ability to work closely with, and support, your colleagues

Hours:

Week 1: 3-7.30pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

Week 2: 3-7.30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
