The opportunity:

In the role of Practice Development Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting the AIA FAP with administrative support to ensure we are compliant and working efficiently. 

This role is also key in supporting the wider team and our FAP advisers to ensure they adopt and utilise cutting-edge practice management solutions and tools. Your efforts will help minimize business risk, increase professionalism, and drive sales-focused administration support to achieve key business priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy and consistency of intermediary data in AIA systems (such as Salesforce, Xplan, and Sovlink).
  • Accurately carrying out licence transfers and data mappings for intermediaries with the appropriate authorisations.
  • Providing administration support for software licensing, Sovlink, and data feeds - ensuring that all necessary actions and controls are in place, together with regular reporting.
  • Working closely with the Practice Development team to assist in the implementation of practice management solutions to intermediaries.
  • Assisting in UA testing to verify developed systems, meet business requirements, and support the business processes.
  • Ensuring that all Practice Development risks are identified, mitigated, and managed through the Risk framework.
  • Documenting team processes and actively contributing to business process improvements and enhancements where required.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, allowing you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Relationship management expertise, you excel in building deep and meaningful relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to collaborate and find mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems (ideally Salesforce and/or Xplan) and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to convey complex knowledge involving process, product, and technology in easily understandable terms.
  • Sound understanding of the NZ financial/insurance industry and familiarity with adviser and distributor sales practice processes.
