Te Kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

We are currently looking for a Water Operations Supervisor to join our team and support the Southland/Invercargill region. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the water industry and be capable of managing various tasks and projects to maintain the water networks. The main responsibility of this position is to supervise the crews and subcontractors who conduct planned and reactive maintenance on the Southland District and Invercargill City 3 Waters Networks.

You will have a great attitude, be reliable and hardworking, and will bring with you:

• A proven track record of leading teams, preferably in a range of 3 waters maintenance or construction activities
• A nationally recognised qualification / and or experience in water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation systems
• An organised and systematic approach to the working environment.
• Ability to deal with unexpected events, make decisions and provide direction
• A strong emphasis on health and safety.
