We are looking for an experienced Civil Excavator Operator to join our Construction Division based out of Hamilton.

You will be operating 8-25T Excavators and be part of a team performing a wide range of construction activities including:

• General earthworks, road widening & detailed excavation
• Pavement construction and kerbing preparation
• Drainage Excavation, including wate tabling and rural pipe installation
• Subdivision excavation work
• Shaping and trimming of batters
• Ensuring high quality infrastructure projects are delivered to plan using your expert operator skills

To be successful in this role, you will:

• NZ resident or NZ citizen
• Background in civil construction
• Able to work independently & have an eye for detail
• Class 2 licence & WTR as a minimum
• Previous experience with GPS enabled equipment would be advantageous
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and achieve strict deadlines
• Leadership and crew management would be beneficial
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, punctuality, reliability, respect for others and to work as part of an efficient team
