The Lead Data Analyst is responsible for driving the organization’s analytics strategy and overseeing the execution of key analytics initiatives. This role provides both strategic leadership and hands-on expertise in developing data-driven solutions to support business decisions. The Lead Data Analyst manages analytics projects, defines methodologies, selects tools, and collaborates closely with stakeholders and the broader Data & AI team to deliver impactful insights.

Responsibilities:
Analytics Strategy and Execution
Develop and lead the implementation of the organization’s analytics roadmap and initiatives.
Oversee the end-to-end execution of analytics projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Define and enforce standards and best practices in data analysis and visualization.
Decision-Making and Innovation
Select appropriate analytics tools, methodologies, and frameworks based on project goals.
Guide the adoption of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
Identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements and innovation across departments.
Collaboration and Communication
Serve as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the Data & AI team for analytics initiatives.
Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable insights.
Present findings, dashboards, and reports to leadership in a clear and compelling manner.
Team Leadership and Development
Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of continuous learning and analytical excellence.
Support capacity building within the analytics team by introducing new tools, technologies, and approaches.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
7+ years of experience in data analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership or lead analyst role.
Strong expertise in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and statistical programming (e.g., Python, R).
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights and analytics solutions in a business environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Background in Agile/Lean methodologies and experience implementing DevOps at scale.
Experience with big data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse).
Familiarity with machine learning fundamentals and their application in business intelligence.
Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks.
