What is this role about?
The role is responsible for developing architectural design solutions for various facilities, including retail service stations, EV charging stations, and Mobility Retail Solutions (MRS). 

In addition, the role involves creating detailed site layouts, floor plans, and architectural drawings while ensuring compliance with company branding guidelines, regulatory codes, operational requirements, and sustainability standards. The architect also coordinates designs with engineering teams (civil, structural, MEPF), prepares necessary documentation for permitting and client approval, and supports the construction team throughout the project by providing design clarifications and conducting site inspections. Ultimately, this role ensures that the design and execution of projects align with both client expectations and industry standards.

What will YOU do?

  • Develop architectural design solutions for retail service stations, EV charging stations, and Mobility Retail Solutions (MRS) facilities;
    • Create site layouts, floor plans, elevations, and detailed architectural drawings for Engineering Solutions and Services (ESS) projects;
    • Ensure all designs comply with company branding guidelines, operational standards, local building codes, and sustainability requirements;
    • Coordinate architectural designs with civil, structural, MEPF, and landscape engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of all building systems;
    • Prepare and manage documentation for permitting, regulatory approvals, and client presentations throughout the project lifecycle;
    • Support construction teams by providing design clarifications, site instructions, and real-time design adjustments during project execution;
    • Conduct site inspections to validate design implementation and ensure construction aligns with approved plans and specifications;
    • Lead punch listing activities\ to identify and address any architectural discrepancies before project handover;
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants to align design intent with operational and commercial goals;
    • Ensure to stay updated with architectural trends, building codes, and sustainable practices to continuously enhance project design quality;
    • Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time. 

What will YOU need?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
  • Master’s Degree in Architecture or Urban Design (Advantage but not required).
  • Licensed Architect (PRC Registered) – Required.
  • Certificate of Building Official Accreditation (optional but advantageous).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in architectural design and project documentation.
  • Experience working on retail, commercial, EV charging stations, or small infrastructure projects is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural design for commercial and retail developments.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit (preferred), and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Familiarity with PEZA, LGU permitting requirements, zoning laws, accessibility codes.
  • Coordination skills with engineering disciplines (civil, structural, MEPF).
  • Strong visualization, attention to detail, and creativity
  • Good communication skills for client and contractor interaction.
  • Office-based design work with periodic site visits for validation and inspection
  • Exposure to field conditions during site validation requiring PPE when necessary
