The Sax
The Sax is a residential development on Rotterdam’s Wilhelminapier by BPD and Synchroon, designed by MVRDV and built by BAM Bouw en Techniek. Two towers, Havana and Philadelphia, are linked by an elevated residential volume. The design combines apartments with shared meeting spaces and a communal roof terrace. Official sources describe just over 900 homes, although the published totals differ slightly. Synchroon identifies an approximately 2,560 m² building plot, distinct from the much larger floor area of the towers.
