Key Account Manager
About this role
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to lead our growth initiatives in the Portuguese market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining relationships with key clients, and developing effective strategies to drive our company's growth in Portugal.
You will
- Identify Opportunities: Analyze the Portuguese market to identify potential business opportunities and growth areas.
- Development Strategy: Develop and implement business strategies to achieve growth objectives in the Portuguese market.
- Client Relationships: Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders. Negotiate Partnerships, contracts and agreements to secure new business opportunities.
- Market research and analysis: Conduct market studies and competitive analysis to inform the entry and expansion strategy in the market. Analyze competitor activities and industry developments.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and other channels. Develop strategies to target new market segments and customer profiles.
- Sales Process Management: Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closing deals. Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and partners, ensuring beneficial and sustainable agreements.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment of strategies and goals. Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Reporting and Analytics: Track and analyze sales performance metrics and KPIs. Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes.
Languages
Fluency in Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.
What We Are Looking For
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or similar roles, preferably in the Portuguese market.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market and financial data and translate it into effective business strategies.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Results-Oriented: Results-driven mindset with a strong ability to meet and exceed established goals.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Portuguese market and its cultural and business dynamics.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cloud services and infrastructure market, including key trends, technologies, and business dynamics.
