Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a proactive and skilled Senior Specialist – Utilities to join our expanding team. In this critical role, you will oversee the management and operation of utility services, ensuring that all systems and infrastructures are efficient, reliable, and sustainable. You will collaborate with various departments to deliver utility solutions that support the development and operational needs of Qiddiya's innovative projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of utility infrastructure including water, electricity, gas, and telecommunications.
- Develop and implement utility management strategies to optimize performance and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine the viability of potential utility projects.
- Monitor utility consumption and analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of utility services.
- Participate in operational planning and project management for utility-related initiatives within the organization.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and procurement documents.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes impacting utility services.
- Maintain relationships with utility providers and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in utility management, engineering, or operations
- Strong understanding of utility systems and infrastructure development
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficient in utility management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Professional certifications related to utility management or engineering are a plus
