Infrastructure SME

DeepSource Technologies is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide in-depth technical expertise and guidance across various infrastructure projects. As an Infrastructure SME, you will collaborate closely with teams to define best practices, optimize infrastructure performance, and ensure that solutions are aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for technical questions related to infrastructure systems and solutions.
• Provide expert advice on infrastructure architecture, design, implementation, and integration.
• Support cross-functional teams in identifying infrastructure requirements and recommending suitable technologies.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of vendors and technologies to improve infrastructure reliability and performance.
• Document infrastructure solutions, processes, and standards for knowledge sharing and compliance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their potential impact on the organization.
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams to ensure consistent application of best practices.
• Collaborate with security teams to develop and implement infrastructure security standards.
• Assist in incident response and troubleshooting for critical infrastructure issues as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure management with a focus on enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure components, including networking, servers, storage, cloud services, and virtualization.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing scalable and highly available infrastructure solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, ITIL) will be a plus.
