IT ERP Project Manager, MEA
The IT ERP Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of business/IT professionals in completing the projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. Duties include budgetary oversight on different project aspects, selecting project team members from existing departments and working on setting or adjusting project schedules to adhere to deadlines. Working with business, the IT PM has responsibilities to ensuring the future ERP system requirements to meet organizational needs.
The IT ERP Project Manager assists with determining scope of the project, set deadlines, assign IT/business responsibilities, and overall ownership of project activities such as Blueprint/Business Requirements, Build, Compliance, UAT test script creation & execution, cutover, go live and hyper-care activities.
- Define project scope, timeline, and budget with other critical stakeholders
- Manage project in accordance with the project plan
- Serve as liaison to the Steering Committee
- Provide overall project direction
- Handle problem resolution
- Conduct Phase Gate Reviews Prior to Key Milestones
- Support and facilitate to keep stakeholders apprised of the project’s status and respond to questions or inquiries regarding the project including delivering presentations to senior staff.
- Serves as liaison to the Corporate and Regional Business Process Owners
- Supervises project business resources and ensures availability to project timeline/needs
- Ensuring Completeness of GAP Analysis
- Responsible for Blueprint/Business Requirements Document
- Responsible for business process change management, communication and business train the trainer approach
- Ensuring Completeness of User Acceptance Testing
- Responsible for Cutover Plan
- Assess Business Readiness prior to Go Live
- Work with local management to plan and schedule participation of key business stakeholders in testing activities. Provide leadership, guidance, and support during management of the execution of testing activities monitoring progress.
- Work with local management to plan and schedule participation of key stakeholders in end user training.
