Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Risk Analyst to join our team! In this role you will get to , focus on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation across projects and business operations.
What You'll Be Doing;
Conducts risk assessments to identify potential risks, including financial, operational, legal, regulatory, and environmental risks, impacting projects or the business.
Analyzes risk data and trends to evaluate the likelihood and potential impact of various risks, providing insights to management for decision-making.
Assists in the development and implementation of risk management plans and strategies, recommending appropriate risk mitigation or control measures.
Monitors and tracks the progress of risk management activities, ensuring that mitigation actions are implemented effectively and on time.
Collaborates with internal teams, project managers, and stakeholders to develop risk response strategies and ensure proper execution.
Prepares regular risk reports and dashboards, highlighting risk exposure, trends, and the effectiveness of mitigation actions.
Assists in the evaluation and management of third-party risks, including contractors, vendors, and other external partners.
Supports the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen risks and ensure business continuity.
Provides recommendations for improving risk management processes and tools, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and company policies.
Tracks risk-related documentation, ensuring that all risk mitigation activities are properly documented and auditable.
Participates in risk management workshops, meetings, and training sessions to increase awareness and understanding of risk management processes across the organization.
Performs other duties as assigned to support risk management activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring;
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
Typically 2 years of experience in risk analysis, risk management, or related roles
Familiarity with risk management methodologies, tools, and industry standards
Strong knowledge of risk management processes, risk assessment techniques, and risk mitigation strategies
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to communicate complex risk data to stakeholders clearly and effectively
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify key risk factors
Proficiency in risk management software, MS Excel, and data analysis tools (e.g., SAP, Primavera)
