Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Mechanical Engineering Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical components, systems, and products through rigorous inspection and testing processes.
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical parts, assemblies, and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
Perform dimensional measurements using precision tools and metrology equipment
Analyze inspection data and prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations
Identify and document non-conformities, defects, or quality issues
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve product quality
Develop and implement inspection procedures and quality control processes
Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in mechanical engineering inspection
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection efficiency and effectiveness
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality-related documentation
Provide technical guidance and support to junior inspectors and production personnel
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering inspection, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
Proficiency in mechanical inspection techniques and quality control processes
Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in CAD software and metrology equipment
Experience with various inspection tools and techniques
Solid understanding of mechanical systems, components, and materials science
ASQ Certified Quality Inspector certification or equivalent is preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and adapt to the local work culture
