We are now looking for an Enterprise architect to our Technology & Platform team at IMC IKEA Marketing & Communication Team in Älmhult. Do you want to join us?  

Job Description

We are looking for an Enterprise Architect with a strong focus on technology and an understanding of marketing and communication. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and driving the next generation of our marketing and communication architecture. As part of the Technology & Platforms team within IKEA Marketing & Communication, you will directly support our core capabilities in marketing and communication. The Enterprise Architecture function is central to our transformational mission to boost engagement and amplify brand impact across diverse channels. In essence you will design, lead, organise, collaborate and communicate. 
 

You will:  

• Define and lead the Marketings & Communication architecture work. Setting the direction for digital platforms/products and technology enablers within the content supply chain. 
• With and agile mindset, co-create and build the target state and provide roadmaps and incremental outcome focused transitions needed to reach the wanted position 
• Secure architectural guidelines, design principles and lead architectural governance and anchoring through the organization 
• Collaborate and align with stakeholders across the organization. From senior decision makers to the delivery teams in execution. Drive impact and influence through clear and structured presentations and communication 
• Build relationship with external stakeholders like software vendors and drive technology discussions and assessment activities with them 
• Besides your “daily” assignments you will get engaged in different opportunities and challenges across the organisation. Acting as a speaking partner and contributor on different topics, spanning from the strategic level to specific solutioning issues 

About You 

You are a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for content creation, analytics and 3D technologies, thriving at the intersection of creative vision and technical execution. You bring a solid background in designing and maintaining systems that support content workflows, with experience in AI, data pipelines and analytics. Curious and forward-thinking, you are excited to explore new tools and methodologies to optimize content creation and visualization processes, keeping our systems innovative and future-ready. 

You work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team, balancing strategic insights with hands-on work. You are analytical, detail-oriented and able to handle complex fast-paced environments with both big-picture thinking and an eye for detail. Your communication skills and strategic mindset will be key as you work with cross-functional teams to align our architecture with the company’s vision for growth and creativity. 

Qualifications

• Senior Experience: This is a senior role, so prior experience in similar responsibilities and familiarity with the marketing and communication domain is essential. 
• Flexible Background: While an architectural background is not mandatory, experience in technology related role such as product leadership, engineering, technology strategy, or other digital functions. 
• Interest in Architecture: An interest in architecture and an architectural mindset is important, even if formal experience in architecture is not required. 
• Key Attributes: We value personality traits like ownership, leadership, relationship-building, clear communication, and stakeholder management at various levels. 
• Broad Technology Scope: Beyond marketing & communication, this role covers a wide range of technology topics, including; Data & Analytics, Automation, 3D, AI & ML, Integrations, APIs & events, Standardization and Cloud Computing. 
• Growt  Mindset: We do not expect you to be an expert in all areas; there will be opportunities for upskilling, learning and growth as the role evolves.
