HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) is a product group in Hitachi Energy, which develops, manufacture and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.

How you'll make an impact
In this role you are responsible for identifying, managing, and controlling interfaces in one of our complex projects.
You help to create a transparent picture of the status of our projects and give recommendations for priorities that lead to optimal progress.
By anticipating, understanding, and influencing interfaces in the project, you have a positive impact on the project's deliveries, whether it concerns time, cost and/or quality.
You ensure that we always have a good flow of information and communication across the project's internal as well as external interfaces.
You work with interfaces in the Engineering part of an EPC (Engineering Procurement Construction) project.
In the project, you report to a PEM (Project Engineering Manager), at the same time as you belong to a department with Project Engineering Managers (PEM) and Project Interface Managers (PIM).
Your background
You enjoy working in an organization that values transparency and freedom under responsibility, you contribute with positive energy, innovative thinking, and a genuine commitment.
You have experience of working in large complex projects, preferably civil engineering projects and you take on challenges with an innovative and problem-solving approach.
You are confident in your leadership role and are good at creating long-term relationships, both internally within your project, within HVDC as an organization and with other external stakeholders.
As we work in a global organization, you need good knowledge of English. Other languages used within the group are meritorious.
We would like you to have a relevant university degree and at least 5 years of experience in project management or similar.
If you have experience with HVDC and/or PMI/PMP certifications, it is advantageous.
