Job Purpose and Essential responsibilities
For our Nordic operation we are seeking to recruit a person for the position of Jr. Analyst FP&A Nordics that will be based in Stockholm and reporting to Sr. Analyst FP&A Nordics.
The role of FP&A Finance team is to support the business in forecasting, budgeting, the review of financial performance, as well as benchmark and productivity analysis. The team will also support Commercial decision taking, Profitability Analysis and will be involved in strategic initiatives.
More specifically the role will be mainly concentrated on the following areas:
Monthly closing results analysis and forecasting / budgeting processes for Nordic countries
- Coordination of budgeting and forecasting processes and communication of guidance to the countries and Business Units, assuring reporting accuracy through data control, review and analysis, coordinating with local business and finance teams.
- Coordination of monthly closing results analysis.
- Supporting proper segmented accounting / planning by Business Unit as reported through OneStream. Analyze and address segmentation mappings and Gross Profit and Operating Expenses allocations and work with Finance Systems to resolve any questions or business requirements.
- Prepare standard and ad hoc management reports and analyze financial metrics to provide insights for actuals, forecast and budget.
- Coordination of weekly flash analysis and discussion.
Profitability and productivity analysis
- Assist the monthly allocations process for the Nordics.
- Prepare monthly and ad hoc profitability reports, including but not limited to first level analysis on Vendor/Customer Profitability evaluation.
- Supporting strategic initiatives with required financial analysis and reporting, including participation in ongoing finance projects on a Nordic level.
- Prepare quarterly productivity and profitability benchmarking with EMEA.
Finance Systems (OneStream)
- Super-user and OneStream (OS) expert for the region. Provide OS support for the users at country level.
- Represent Nordics in global OS development projects.
People management and stakeholder management
- Develop strong relationships with the Corporate Controlling, FP&A and Finance Systems teams as well as with the Country Accounting and Business Controlling teams
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- University Degree in Finance with strong interests in both Accounting and Finance systems, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Solid financial accounting knowledge including the ability to understand financial KPI’s and drivers.
- Excellent operational knowledge of OneStream and Excel.
- Ability to cope with deadlines and stress resistant.
- Flexibility to adapt to moving priorities.
- Strong analytical skills.
- High energy level and pro-active attitude.
- Good communication and presentation skills. Able to simplify complex arguments in both verbal and written communication.
- Interpersonal skills sufficient to establish excellent working relations with individuals from various background.
- Fluent written and spoken English is a must. Swedish is seen as an advantage.
