Job Description

General Mission:

  • To provide food & beverage services to all guests in a manner that is professional, efficient, yet friendly and second to none
  • Ensuring that the hotel is aesthetically pleasing and functional (as seen through the guest’s eye)
  • Make guest contact the priority, and be concerned about guest comfort 

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Supervisors with various administrative work.
  • Assist in seating guests, ensuring they are comfortable.
  • Assist the F&B Team Leaders in taking orders, upselling, and recommending menu items.
  • Serve food and beverages according to the guests' orders efficiently.
  • Serve water to the guest according to their preference, i.e., ice, hot, or warm.
  • Clear soiled dishes from the tables.
  • Clear soiled dishes to the stewarding area.
  • Clean and set tables according to the brand standards.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and the bar. Ensures that the restaurant and bar are inviting.
  • Acknowledge guests who are waiting.
  • To work together as a team, communicating on operational concerns.
  • Strive to implement the Accor Vision and demonstrate active use of the Accor Values

 

Qualifications

  • Diploma in a relevant field is mandatory
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar capacity within the hospitality industry is required
  • Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be highly advantageous
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential
  • Impeccable personal presentation is a non-negotiable requirement
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a diverse range of work situations is crucial
  • Professional demeanor and strong collaborative skills are imperative
