Key Responsibilities:
Sample Collection & Preparation: Skillfully collect and prepare biological samples for testing.
Laboratory Testing: Conduct a wide range of tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids using both manual and automated techniques.
Result Analysis: Analyze test results with precision and report findings to medical staff promptly.
Equipment Management: Operate, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment.
Quality Control: Perform quality control checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure reliable test results.
Compliance & Safety: Adhere to established protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe laboratory environment.
Documentation: Accurately document all test procedures and results.
Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and select appropriate tests.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest advancements in laboratory testing and medical technology.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
Certification: Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience in a regulated clinical laboratory setting.
Technical Skills: Proficient in using laboratory equipment and performing assigned testing procedures (Anatomic Pathology - FISH, Microtomy, tissue examination, H&E staining, etc) .
Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
