He/she shall possess a degree in Project and Facilities Management or equivalent or a degree in Engineering from recognised university with at least 3 years of experience in facilities management.
His/her duties in MPA include the following:
a) To supervise and manage the maintenance and repairs of MPA’s properties and piers;
b) To supervise and manage the daily operations and facilities management related matters;
c) To supervise and monitor the performance of contractors carrying operations, and
maintenance and repairs works at MPA’s properties and piers.
d) To ensure that processes and procedures, including the SOPs are updated and carried out
as stipulated;
e) To attend to all complaints, queries and feedback pertaining to the daily operations of the
MPA’s properties and ensure remedial works are carried out satisfactorily and promptly;
f) To review schedule of rates and small value purchase quotations submitted and put up
recommendations for approval;
g) To prepare quotation/tender specifications, call, evaluate, put up recommendations for
award of tenders and/or quotations in compliance with MPA’s procedures.
