Regional Communications Manager- 12 month contract

The Regional Communications Manager is a business partner to the APAC IME Regional Manager and the respective team of Area Managers. As a business partner, one is required to understand the business and drive communications activities to help achieve the region’s business objectives. In this generalist role, one is required to work closely with various specialist teams within the global communications team, and stakeholders within the regional business team. Reporting into this role is a team of communications professionals based in various local units who are local contact points. It is the responsibility of the Regional Communications Manager to manage this team and the overarching strategy of the region’s communications plan. 

The Regional Communications Manager reports to the Head of Global Communications and will be based in the regional DNV Singapore office. This is a 12 month contract role.

Tasks may include:

  • Define, manage and coordinate all communication activities for the region, considering unique customer requirements and business goals.
  • Coach and develop reporting team of local communication professionals based in various local units.
  • Work collaboratively with the APAC IME regional team to support in achieving strategic targets.
  • Maintain close cooperation with the global specialist comms functions to implement policies and procedures throughout the region.
  • Ensure the integration of the regional communication plan with the other plans for Business Assurance and wider Group strategy.
  • Design, develop and monitor communication activities (online and offline) in cooperation with other functions.
  • Fuel sales by generating qualified leads through digital communication initiatives.
  • Report communication results and ensure cost effectiveness in maximising communications contribution to sales.
  • Proactively drive DNV’s reputation, presence and brand visibility in the region.
  • Share success metrics, objectives and key results to focus the team on ROI.
  • Analyse ongoing data trends to recommend changes and inform best practice to the wider communications network.

  • Degree in Marketing / Business Management.
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar role working for a multinational company.
