Senior Manager (Subsidiaries & Grants)
[What the role is]
Responsibilities
You will oversee the corporate governance of subsidiaries and grants policy to ensure shareholder value creation and proper risk management.
[What you will be working on]
Subsidiaries
You will also provide guidance on financial governance and accounting matters to all subsidiaries to ensure adequate internal controls. You will partner with key stakeholders in the set up and operationalisation of the financial policies, code of governance and reporting protocols for CAAS’ subsidiaries. You will ensure proper financial and management accounting, strong governance and compliance with statutory requirements, including the management of any internal or external audits. You will also set their annual budgets and analyse their budget and financial performance.
Grants
You will also set up and enhance corporate-level grants policies, procedures and structure. You will work with key stakeholders to strengthen grants policy and governance, e.g. by setting up a central Grant Management office.

Requirements
• Relevant professional accounting qualification
• 7-8 years of professional experience
• Highly motivated self-starter, resourceful and analytical
• Possess strong leadership skills
• Able to multi-task and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Relevant experience is advantageous
Note: Your appointment designation will commensurate with your relevant work experience. Successful candidates will be offered a 3-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for placement on a permanent tenure or subsequent contract renewal.
