[What you will be working on]
1. Perform month-end and year-end financial reporting activities, including accounts reconciliation and audit schedule review.
2. Coordinate and manage financial audits, including the preparation and review of statutory financial statements.
3. Present financial reports to management.
4. Conduct quarterly GST submission and analysis.
5. Managing the charity fund, including submission to the authorities for matching grants, tax-deductible donations, MOE bursary claims and Charity Portal.
6. Oversee the financial activities of subsidiary accounts.
7. Prepare financial statistics surveys and handle statutory submissions or requests from government agencies as necessary.
8. Ensure adherence to internal controls and compliance with statutes, policies, and accounting standards.
9. Assist in system implementation, data analytics, and process streamlining initiatives.
10. Undertake other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned.
[What we are looking for]
1. Qualification in Accountancy or its related disciplines, with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
2. Demonstrated expertise as an accountant and auditor, with proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards (FRSs).
3. Strong written and oral communication skills, particularly in crafting impactful proposals and PowerPoint presentations.
4. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
5. Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
6. Detail-oriented, meticulous, and systematic approach to work.
7. Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
