As a Senior Project Engineer (Automation/Control), you will…

Be responsible for managing and executing annual CAPEX projects and supporting automation/control improvements at our Kalasin Plant. You will ensure project safety, quality, and compliance while aligning designs with Ingredion’s global automation standards.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Create basic design packages: process modifications, energy balances, equipment selection
• Collaborate with external and internal engineering teams for design and system specification
• Define project scope to meet operational and business needs
• Prepare cost estimates and project proposals for CAPEX approval
• Manage projects across cost, time, quality, and safety targets
• Oversee safe construction, controls programming, and commissioning activities
• Stay current on trends in automation technology and implement improvements

What You Will Bring (Experience and Knowledge):

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering (Automation / Control)
• Experience in food, beverage, or chemical manufacturing, or engineering firms
• Proven hands-on experience in CAPEX and project management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple capital projects in plant environments
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
