Dow Thailand Group is looking for Production Engineering for Propylene Oxide plant, located at Map Ta Phut site, Rayong. He/she will acts as a technical resource for Operations personnel, applying technical skills within manage production, to optimize plant operations, resolves plant problems and enables safe and efficient production of low cost, quality products.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Understands and applies, Deference to Expertise, Sensitivity to Operations, Reluctance to Simplify, Preoccupation with Failure and Resilience to promote the development of a Highly Reliable Organization
- Participates when required in advanced trouble shooting and coaches others to learn these skills. Ensures findings are documented in Plant OD (Operating Discipline) for future usage
- Provide leadership and direction in the day to day decision making for the operating area of responsibility
- Ensures Most Effective Technology (MET) is understood and utilized.
- Ensures Operating Discipline (ODMS) requirements are met and include appropriate MET (Most Effective Technology)
- Works with Technical Advising and plant personnel to optimize operations to meet Business and plant goals. (EH&S, Production, cost, quality, energy, reliability)
- Supports plant roles in procedure usage, creation, reviews, updates and approvals when assigned.
- As required communicate technical information and issues to plant personnel, Technology or Expertise centers.
Qualifications
- New graduation with Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology or related field.
- Good command of spoken and written English, equivalent to TOEIC score of 700 or higher
- Good computer skills (MS Office Applications) and engineering software with relevant
- Native Thai speaking

- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of engineering principles, machinery, and production technologies.
- Problem-Solving: Skilled in identifying issues in the production line and implementing effective solutions.
- Project Management: Capable of managing projects, coordinating with teams, and ensuring timely completion of production goals.
- Quality Control: Ensuring products meet quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Data Analysis: Proficient in using data to monitor production performance and make informed decisions
