Working in the People Team
The People team is the power house of our employee and candidate experience for the team of Open Cosmonauts!
Supporting the team through the employee lifecycle, from the point someone reviews our job advert, through the recruitment process and launching their careers into Open Cosmos! We are here to enable the team and keep on track with being a Great Place to Work.
What will you be doing?
You will be taking the lead in all aspects relating to talent acquisition, employer branding and ensuring we have the right skills and capabilities to scale internationally.
Key focus areas will be talent planning with the team leaders, ensuring excellence throughout our candidate experience, supporting VP, People in implementing psychometric tools, leading graduate recruitment and planning for international expansion.
This is a varied role where you’ll have a blend of operational and strategic contributions!
What you need to be successful
You’ll have a strong practical understanding of international recruitment, ideally within a tech, high growth sector - even better if you’ve done this across Europe and UAE!
You’ll be an expert interviewer, being able to get the best out of candidates and clearly focusing in on whether they have what we need in terms of human skills and culture fit
You’ll have a good grasp of psychometrics in recruitment, even if you haven’t used them yourself, understanding the application is key
You’ll navigate the ambiguity of a growing business well, being able to support managers and make sense of changing information
You’ll be a strong coach, supporting people at all levels with their recruitment needs and skills, focusing on best practices
You’ll be managing a small team so you’ll demonstrate skills in creating a positive work environment
Overall, you’ll be communicating a lot, so be confident in speaking, listening and writing, sometimes within large groups including the delivery of training workshops for our Open Cosmonauts!
