We are recruiting an experienced Product Engineer to join our growing team of dedicated Engineers in the UK. The successful candidate will work within a multi-functional development team, supporting new product introductions of high-performance mixed-signal audio products. To help drive yield optimisations, cost reductions, and quality improvements, you will work closely with internal engineering teams. Are you the right candidate for this role? Responsibilities:
Own product qualification for our products
Help define, build, verify, and implement stress patten for HTOL, LTOL, and ELFR
Manage qualification hardware
Perform data analysis on test program performance and read points
Collaborate with cross-function groups to manage qualification deliverables and timelines
Own internal & external communication on qualification milestones and issues
Lead multi-functional teams to resolve complex qualification issues
Interpretation of datasheets and translation to test
Work with Quality team on product reliability qualifications
Own statistical data analysis & reporting to external customers
Develop hardware for reliability stressing
Bring up of burn in capability for qualifications
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, such as Quality and Design, to implement solutions to sophisticated problems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Masters degree plus directly related work experience
Knowledge of reliability stresses such as HTOL/ELFR/HAST/ESD
Good understanding of Analog (ADC/DAC/AMP) and Digital testing
Familiarity with datasheets and test coverage reviews
Schematic design experience.
Knowledge of hardware debug and schematic tracing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge with scripting languages such as Python, Visual Basic (VBT), or JSL
Possess a strong base in statistics applicable to high volume data analysis and experience with JMP or similar statistical analysis programs
Experience with oscilloscope and logic analyzers for burn in debug
Attention to detail and have the ability to make good decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work within a cross functional engineering team spread across multiple geographic location
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience with Teradyne IG-XL tester platform
Experience with qualification of 55nm and smaller process nodes
Experience with HTOL/BHAST hardware design
Experience in automotive product engineering
Experience with MCC ovens preferred
This position in located in Edinburgh This is a hybrid remote position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference.
