Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Qantas Airways Limited, Los Angeles, CA.
Perform aircraft maintenance, certification, and related tasks to ensure high level of safety, reliability and presentation required by Australian and American regulatory authorities, customers, and management. Supervise and manage aircraft maintenance staff. Document and report requirements for Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) airworthiness and company standards. Ensure safe and prompt dispatch of Qantas and client aircraft in accordance with established company, customer, and regulatory authority standards in Australia and America. Support technical issue resolution. Manage third party contractors. Review existing work plans to ensure production targets are achieved.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. $133,494/yr.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have five (5) years of work experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer or related. Must have five (5) years of experience in/with the following:
Up to 20% of international travel is required.
