THE ORGANIZATION

Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 700+ individuals working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.

THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY

ACRC is seeking an Office Supervisor for the Sacramento office. The purpose of this position is to ensure efficient operation of office functions to support staff and ultimately serve Clients. Specifically, this role: oversees ACRC administrative support functions; provides direct supervision to Office Assistant staff assigned to the specialty areas; manages performance of assigned staff by setting clear expectations, as well as by providing support, feedback, and direction; ensures compliance with current and relevant ACRC policies and procedures; and participates as a member of the Leadership Team and cross-disciplinary groups.

Requirements

Applicants must possess: a High School diploma or equivalent; 4 years of general office or administrative experience; 2 years’ supervisory experience in a complex process or activity; current California driver’s license and evidence of current automobile liability insurance; the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, requirements, and policy standards; and advanced knowledge of standard office equipment and instruments. Knowledge of ACRC policies/procedures and safety and ergonomics in regards to buildings, facilities, furniture, and equipment, as well as the ability to respectfully resolve conflict is preferred. Prior supervisory experience may be substituted with 8+ years of experience in the Office Services Department at ACRC that includes experience in project/committee/community leadership roles, ongoing development from manager, participation in leadership trainings, and other additional responsibilities.
