Manager, CFI Standards
Job Description:
The Manager, CFI Standards is responsible for the standardization of training including management of the Airplane Standard Operating Procedures (ASOP), maneuver manuals, and the standardization of training across all HAA campuses to ensure an optimal level of training quality, efficiency, and safety.
Job Duties:
- New hire (CFI) training program development and execution including checkout and annual check flights
- Updating Airplane Standard Operating Procedures (ASOP), maneuver manuals, and checklists
- Manages mentor program development and operation
- Manages and executes CFI proficiency program
- Oversees Manager of CFI Development and related initiatives
- Flight Management software implementation and management
- Flight Training liaison for future structural changes such as LOAs, management systems, and ways of operating
Required Skills/Experience:
- FAA CFI certificate holder
- Experience working in a 141 flight training environment
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking skills
- Organized and motivated
- Computer software skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- CFI/CFII/MEI certificate holder
- Management experience in a 141 flight training environment
- Technical writing skills
