Job Description

RESPEC, seeks a Senior AutoCAD Technician to join our full-service engineering team! We design innovative world-class projects utilizing state-of-the-art technologies.

The Senior AutoCAD Technician is responsible for developing engineering design drawings for civil infrastructure projects including highways, mining roads, water/sewer/storm drain utilities, and site development improvements. This position will work closely with Land Surveyors; Geotechnical, Environmental, and Civil Engineers, scientists; and project managers to ensure designs conform to applicable industry and quality standards, budgetary requirements, and internal or client CAD standards. The CAD Designer is also responsible for mentoring CAD technicians, assisting with QA/QC of CAD deliverables, and delegating work to CAD staff.

Qualifications

10 years of AutoCAD 3D design drafting experience. Work requires a thorough working knowledge of drafting techniques and proficiency in the use of CAD workstations and associated peripherals to develop finished drawings. Accuracy, quality, completeness, and schedule adherence can be maintained independently, while maintaining and increasing proficiency in operations and recommending new methods and procedures.

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
