Job Description

**This is a Full Time, salaried, Float Ambulatory Nurse Clinician position for the North Region clinics at 40 hours per week. The Nurse floats throughout North Region ambulatory clinics (Glenview, Deerfield, Vernon Hills, Lake Bluff, Lake Forest, Grayslake).  Schedule is 4, 10 hour shifts Monday through Thursday.  Mileage reimbursement and float differential provided.**

Responsibilities:

Float Nurse Clinician North Float Pool Addendum

The North Region (NR) Float Registered Nurse (RN) works in a multidisciplinary environment which will require exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, physicians, clinical and administrative units. This position will float throughout NR ambulatory facilitates including Vernon Hills, Glenview, Deerfield, Grayslake, Lake Forest, Lake Bluff and Gurnee. This position will utilize nursing skills to perform patient assessments via phone or in person and implement nursing interventions; such as the ability to use appropriate judgment, independent thinking and creativity when resolving patient care issues. Also responsible for initiating & organizing patient education for the population this unit serves.
