WHO we’re looking for:

We are looking for a Quality Engineer II who will be responsible for responsible for managing the quality/sustaining areas of products after commercial launch.  You will interface with customers to manage all logging and tracking of issues including necessary software fixes, problems resulting from after market accessories, design problems, etc. You will also define and implement processes for resolving issues and will be responsible for driving necessary resources for successful completion of resolution.

Role and Responsibilities:
  • Interacts with all levels within organization and within customer organizations to identify and track product issues.
  • Responsible for sustaining quality of post launch products through driving resources toward effective resolution of product failures or issues.
  • Tracks performance of products by utilizing project management tools, methods, and scheduling.
  • Manages processes established by driving resources to ensure that quality of products is sustained.
  • Manages carrier EWP process by reporting the findings to carrier.
Required Experience and Education:
  • 2-4 years' experience in a quality or wireless telecommunications position and long-term customer contact and relationship building.
  • Bachelors Degree, from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Must have experience setting up Quality/Sustaining engineering processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience with OEM handset products, a combination of CDMA and GSM, and project/product management skills.
  • Experience researching and resolving customer technical complaints and issues.

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to thrive in a team-based or independent environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Limited supervision and the exercise of discretion.
  • Korean speaking (business level) with good Excel skills.
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all assigned levels within and outside the organization.
  • Plan, organize and prioritize multiple complex assignments and projects.
  • Read and interpret detailed and complex customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated competency in both verbal and written communication modes for both internal and external personnel at various levels, especially in sales and marketing, logistical or financial areas of clients, prospects, and organization.
  • Ability to achieve personal and team goals and complete assignments within established time frames.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye. Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time. Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.

Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
