Trudo Vertical Forest

Trudo Vertical Forest applies planted-tower architecture to a social-housing commission in Eindhoven. Stefano Boeri Architetti designed the project for Sint Trudo, with Inbo as local and executive architect. The 19-storey building contains 125 apartments. Trees and planting occupy projecting balconies, making the relationship between housing and vegetation visible across the facades. The project broadens the architectural discussion beyond privately owned luxury towers. The architect records the project period as 2017–2021, and the building opened in October 2021. The social-housing description refers to the original commission; current rents, eligibility and availability are not verified.
