The Greenhouse

The Greenhouse is a residential building in Ponsonby with a distinctive green-brick exterior. Its city setting and shared residential spaces offer an architectural profile rooted in one of Auckland’s established neighbourhoods rather than a new peripheral estate. The building’s green exterior uses handmade glazed bricks from Italy. The official page identifies a residents’ lounge and gives selected apartment examples rather than a single standard layout: a two-bedroom home with 70 m² internal area and a 5 m² balcony, and a one-bedroom example advertised at 49 m² including balcony. These examples are not a whole-project size range.

The supermarket, swim club, daycare and commercial gym described for the wider Maungārongo neighbourhood are future precinct proposals, not confirmed Toi amenities.
