One River North
One River North brings a canyon-like landscape into a residential tower in Denver. Designed by MAD Architects with Davis Partnership Architects as executive architect, the completed building combines 187 rental apartments with ground-floor retail. A four-storey opening cuts through the glazed facade. A shared route between floors six and nine connects planted terraces and communal spaces inspired by Colorado’s foothills and canyons. The contrast between the regular glass grid and the soft, eroded-looking surfaces gives the project its distinctive identity. A rooftop terrace adds a pool, spa and garden.
